See Mexican Silver by Penny Chittim Morrill and Carole A. Berk page 118-127. Her pieces were made in the 1940s and are very rare.This sterling silver choker necklace measures 14 inches inside.

Vintage Insect jewelry,Bees,Antique estate jewelry,Retro Platinum and diamond bee pin. This bee pin was made from 18k yellow gold and platinum. It has ruby eyes and six full cut diamonds total ct weight .25 cts. Measures 1 inch by 1 inch. It was beautifully handmade in the 1940s. If you click on all of the images, you can see the fine craftmanship that went into crafting this item, as well, you will notice the pin is held in by a piece that pulls out from under the bees nose.
