- - - - | Sterling silver Smith and Wesson belt buckle Item # 1642 Click HERE to inquire about this item "Smith and Wesson" gun company anniversary sterling silver belt buckle. This sterling silver belt buckle was cast for the 125 year anniversary of Smith and Wesson gun and firearm company with the most fantastic fine detail. The top of its original custom made black walnut case ( which measures 5 and one half inches wide by 4 inches deep by 1 and one half inches high) is lithographed Smith & Wesson 1852 to 1977 125 years. The buckle is a heavy weight and measures 3 and one quarter inches wide by 2 and one half inches high and 1/8 inch thick! The back is stamped c 1977 Smith and Wesson serial number 0536 sterling. This sterling silver buckle is in mint, never worn condition. Rare, What a gift or present this would make!

This matching antique sterling silver vintage necklace and bracelet set is extremely rare. Early Spratling silver pieces are the most sought after of all the silver makers in Mexican silver from Taxco Mexico. The silver necklace measures 17 inches long, and 1 and one quarter inches wide. The William Spratling matching bracelet measures 8 inches long. The necklace weights 3.85 ozs and the bracelet weights 2.15 ozs.Early Spratling silver pieces are very rare and hard to come by. Please refer to "Mexican Silver" by Penny Chittim Morrill and Carole A. Beck for similar examples and an explanation of this period of Mexican Silver history and design.It is also pictured in a full page photograph in Spratling Silver by Sandraline Cederwall and Hal Riney with Barnaby Conrad Chronicl Books c1990 page 110
