"Antique cameo" jewelry,English vintage jewelry 15k yellow gold,onyx,and pearl cameo c1870. Some very small nicks to face. This is a well done cameo, it has good detail work in the face and hair. Approximately 35 pearls are mounted on the outside bezel. Measures 1 and one half inches high by 1inches long

Taxco Mark pre dates studio mark of "Plata Y Piedra" which he opened in 1950. It is marked F. Martinez 925 Sterling Taxco Mexico. This piece has a good substantial weight. See MEXICAN SILVER 20th Century JEWELRY HANDWROUGHT & METAL WORK by Penny Chittim Morrill and Carole A. Berk. Published by Schiffer 1994 pages 188 and 246. This is a very rare piece of Felipe Martinez silver jewelry. Measures 7inches long by 1 and one quarter inches wide. Excellent condition.
