Antique bird Jewelry,Period American gold bird brooch,this antique period American brooch c1790 to 1800 has and oil on paper painting of a folk art style bird. The beveled glass bezel is original and surrounded by solid gold which tests to be at least 14k if not higher. This wonderful and rare American jewelry piece measures 1 and three eighths inches by 2 and one quarter inches by seven sixteenths inches thick. The colors are quite vibrant including the background colors. The original hook in the back was used to hold a watch.

Period Antique American rose Diamond Ring,This late eighteenth to early 19th century rose cut diamond and gold ring is absolutely beautiful and resembles one on page 29 of Jewelry in America 1600 to 1900 by Martha Gandy Fales page 29. This ring is at least 14k and the diamonds are foil backed. Size 5. Approximately 2 carats. The oval top measures 5 eighths inches by seven sixteenths inches. Period antique American jewelry in good or excellent original condition is very rare.
