Period American brooch with painted bird c1790 to 1820 Item # 2432 Antique bird Jewelry,Period American gold bird brooch,this antique period American brooch c1790 to 1800 has and oil on paper painting of a folk art style bird. The beveled glass bezel is original and surrounded by solid gold which tests to be at least 14k if not higher. This wonderful and rare American jewelry piece measures 1 and three eighths inches by 2 and one quarter inches by seven sixteenths inches thick.
