The three pieces leaves and flowers are are extremely well done. The three matching pieces weight 27 grams. 18k yellow gold. Victorian Baroque Style Carved Coral Necklace Item # 3393 Antique Victorian coral jewelry, Stunning antique Victorian hand carved "coral jewelry" choker necklace in soft rich shade that is very flattering to the skin. Five strands of handmade beads joined by 3 medallions of putti or cherubs with scrolls, shells, and leaves. Center medallion 1 and three quarter inches long. Length 14 and three quarter inches and curved to fit the shape of the neck. Beautifully mounted in 14K yellow gold with hinges between the medallions to curve gracefully around the neck. Excellent condition, circa 1880 to 1890. We very rarely acquire period pieces of this size and quality....Attention........Coral is very hard to photograph and get the color exactly the way the piece is. The pictures we have provided showing the necklace being worn around the womans neck are very close to the true color of this coral. It is not red at all but mor of a soft lighter color which shows in these photographs. The other photographs are to red and are not what this looks like in person.
