Chinese Jade and Gold Pendant

Chinese jade and gold pendant. Measures one and three quarter inches by seven eighths of an inch overall. Chinese gold jewelry is usually at least 22 karat, which is a higher grade than Western jewelry. The jade appears to be of the deep green "spinach" color. The embossed dragon frame design is very traditional; the bottom was cast and the top was embossed by hand.

Los Castillos Taxco Mexico Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelets circa 1960. This pair of Taxco Mexico sterling bracelets are made to fit small wrists having less than a six inch circumference. The pair weighs 206.7 grams together. These Taxco, Mexico bracelets measure 3 and three quarter inches widest point, from the curl. Spring loaded clasp, truly an excellent pair of Los Castillos sterling silver bracelets in very good original condition.

Antique period horn powder horn with scrimshaw. American Revolution period powder horn. The scrimshawed carving appears to be original to the horn. The end cap, depicting the date December 19, 1777, is clearly original. The carving is naïve, but detailed and lively, including five ships and a large house with a cut stone foundation and smoking chimneys
